About the role
The role is a newly created position in response to the growing needs within Eastern Health residential aged care services. The role will be responsible for providing direct clinicial care to optimise the health and well-being of residents aligned to the values of Eastern Health and principles of the Aged Care Quality Standards. This role will commence in the existing Eastern Health residiental aged care facilities and transition to the new, purpose-built facility at the Wantirna Health site upon its completion.
About you
You will be able to demonstrate the Eastern Health values and you will be passionate about the care of the older person. You will possess excellent clinical skills and be committed to quality improvement and service development based on best practise. You will also be organised and efficient, with an unwavering commitment to providing great care, everywhere, everytime.
You will work closely with the Residential Aged Care Allied Health Interdisciplinary Team. You will also be provided with clinical supervision and explore opportunities to develop your clinical skills. You will become part of the Aged and Complex Dietetics Stream, with opportunities to engage in relevant quality work and professional development. In addition, you will receive operational support from the Allied Health GEM and Palliative Care Manager.
