Our main acute sites are Angliss Hospital (Ferntree Gully), Box Hill Hospital (Arnold Street, Box Hill) and Maroondah Hospital in Ringwood East.

This program is available to Registered Nurses who have qualified and registered in the last 3 years on a fixed term, part time or full time basis (0.6 - 1.0 EFT)
You must have been eligible for PMCV Computer Match, but having not completed a formal Graduate Nurse Program.
Acute experience is viewed favourably but not essential. Perhaps you have been working in subacute or aged care, or doing some agency nursing - we can offer you a supported pathway into acute nursing with our friendly teams in our award winning health service.
You will benefit from a structured, comprehensive induction program, regular study days, clinical assessments and regular feedback.
We have a variety of options for your ongoing career development on successful completion of this program, including:

- Dedicated Clinical Nurse Educator for each ward/unit
- Transition to Specialty Practice Programs

The Nursing Workforce and Professional Practice Unit is located at our main campus and offers a range of programs across all sites.
This opportunity offers registered Nurses who are passionate and enthusiastic with sound clinical knowledge and experience an opportunity to join Eastern Health. You will be allocated to our wards/units and have the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
