Payroll Support Officer, RosterOn project - EH Distribution Centre, Ringwood

Eastern Health is one of Melbourne’s largest public health services. The RosterOn project will implement a new electronic rostering system across all areas of Eastern Health. This will deliver significant improvements to staff rostering, timesheets, payroll and leave administration. The project is currently in the System Design, Configuration and Testing phase. Key aspects of this phase are the development of the Award Interpreter module and integration between the rostering and payroll systems, both of which directly influence how reliably and accurately we pay our workforce as per the applicable Enterprise Agreements. The Payroll Support Officer will play a critical role in ensuring the system is built to the required standard. This role is required for the duration of the current phase which will be complete by June 2019.

 

To be successful in this role you should possess:

  • Sound knowledge of Enterprise Agreements applicable to the Eastern Health workforce
  • Practical experience operating Eastern Health's SAP payroll system
  • Detailed understanding of current operational procedures relating to the administration of timesheets, payroll and leave at Eastern Health
  • Well-developed desktop skills including Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Analytical / problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work as part of a project team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
