Graduate Registered Nurse Program 2024
- Part Time: 0.8 EFT (64 hours per fortnight)
- Sites available: Angliss Hospital, Box Hill Hospital, Healesville Hospital, Maroondah Hospital, Peter James Centre, Wantirna Health, Yarra Valley Health and Community areas.
- Flexible working hours (Rotating rosters)

About the role
Our Graduate Registered Nurse Program is progressive, responsive and innovative. We use the latest evidence to develop our program study days together with regular feedback from our graduates.
We support and facilitate the development of a well prepared, high quality, safe nursing and midwifery workforce committed to improving health outcomes.
Note: this job advert is for Graduate Registered Nurses who are applying through the PMCV Allocation and Placement Service process (previously known as computer match).
We have four pathways for nursing graduates in 2024 including:
- General Nursing (12 months with 2 rotations)
- Pure Mental Health (12 months with 2 rotations)
- Blended Mental Health (6 months) and General Nursing (6 months)
- Collaborative program with Alexandra District Health (ADH) (6 months at Eastern Health and 6 months as ADH)

- 2 Page CV, including a table of completed and upcoming clinical placements
- 1 Page cover letter addressed to Ms Michelle Rutherford, Director Pre-registration and Transition to Practice Programs
- Official academic transcript (certified- by a person authorised to certify documents in Victoria e.g. Pharmacist, Police Officer etc.). If you have a digital academic record, we also accept this without certification
- 2 clinical placement assessment tools/appraisals- most recent and specific for the pathway you are applying (does not need to be certified)
- 1 Professional/ workplace referee (or volunteer work)
- 1 Clinical Placement referee (please upload two clinical placement referees if you do not have a professional referee)
