JOB TITLE: Associate Nurse Unit Manager, Ward 7.2, Box Hill Hospital

About the role

We are a well-established, 32 bed ward, that provides pre and post-operative care for Colorectal, Upper GI, General Surgical and Gastroenterology patients.

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic clinician who is ready to step up to the next level of management and leadership as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager. The successful applicant will join the 7.2 team in a Temporary Part time (64 hours /fortnight) position. Current surgical experience is a must. We offer roster flexibility,

structured and supportive orientation and great learning opportunities.

About you 

To be successful in this role you should possess:

  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Current surgical nursing experience
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organisation and leadership skills
  • A strong commitment to high quality care
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team
  • Ability to work a full rotating roster
  • High level of computer literacy
