As a Pool Nurse you will provide coverage for different vacancies across the Peter James Centre, Wantirna Health, Angliss, Box Hill, and Maroondah hospitals in our sub acute units as well as cover vacancies in our Residential Aged care facilities. On different days, you may be allocated shifts to cover roster vacancy, short term contracts (e.g. Long Service Leave) or unexpected leave (e.g. sick leave) on clinical units.

You will be provided with a rotating roster according to your contracted hours with the ability to request days off like all permanent staff.

To be successful, it is essential that you are:
• A Registered Nurse who has current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Agency (AHPRA)
• Have recent experience in Rehab, Gerontology, Palliative Care and Residential care
• An ability to work a 24/7 roster
• A flexible attitude with the ability to adapt to differing work practises and environments
• A commitment to maintaining quality service delivery and safe patient care, and to continuing your Professional Development.
