Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist – Grade 3

 

Acute/Subacute Inpatients - Psychology

An opportunity exists for an experienced and dynamic Clinical Neuropsychologist (Grade 3) to join our Neuropsychology Department at Eastern Health.

The 3 day/week position involves providing a responsive; evidence based neuropsychology service to patients on acute wards, within inpatient rehabilitation and the geriatric, evaluation and management programs. The successful applicant will have specialised knowledge in a wide range of neuropsychological disorders, and expertise and skill in assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of adult clients, preferably with experience in ward environments and assessment of decision-making capacity. Clinical work involves neuropsychological assessment, working within and consulting to multidisciplinary teams, and education of clients and carers. As this is a senior position there will be opportunities to provide clinical supervision, to lead quality projects relevant to the provision of Psychology services or Allied Health more broadly, and to be involved in research projects.
