About the Role
This program will offer a welcoming environment to support newly graduated ENs in their transition from student to EN, offering 2 X 6 month rotations.
Our Learning and Teaching team and clinical staff provide a supportive environment that encourages the development of clinical skills, reflective practice and a sense of professional identity and accountability. As a graduate you will be a key participant and contributor to change and innovation and we invite you to join us for an exciting year and future with Eastern Health.
General pathway: Areas include Acute (Medical and Surgical), Aged Medicine (Rehabilitation, GEM and Palliative Care), and Residential Aged Care.
Mental Health pathway: Areas include Adult Acute Mental Health, Adolescent Inpatient Unit, Community Continuing Care and Older Persons Mental Health Inpatient Unit.
About You
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Current or close to attaining Enrolled Nurse AHPRA Registration (condition free) – by July 2024.
- Developed interpersonal skills
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Great communication and organisational skills
