About the role

Blackburn Public Surgical Centre, situated in Blackburn, is currently seeking a suitably experienced Registered Nurse to join the professional and organised team on a permanent basis.

Your role will be to provide clinical leadership on a day to day basis within Surgical Admissions and the wider Blackburn Campus. The Elective Surgical Centre will consist of 4 theatres, a surgical admissions and post-operative surgical ward and forms part of the wider Eastern Health Surgical Program. Theatre lists include a variety of surgical specialities, including general surgery, gynaecology and colorectal. 

About You

To be successful in the role you will have:

• Current APHRA registration
• Recent leadership experience
• Strong commitment to quality patient care 
• The ability and experience to confidently lead a diverse team
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
