About the role
An opportunity exists for an experienced and dynamic Clinical Neuropsychologist Grade 4 to join our Neuropsychology Department at Eastern Health.
The position involves providing clinical and professional leadership to the neuropsychologists working within the acute/subacute neuropsychology service at Eastern Health.
The Grade 4 Clinical Neuropsychologist will use their expert knowledge, specialist expertise and significant experience to deliver an evidence-based neuropsychology assessment and intervention service to patients presenting with a broad range of neuropsychological conditions. In addition, the Grade 4 Clinical Neuropsychologist will ensure a responsive neuropsychology service is provided to all Eastern Health acute and subacute inpatient programs. Management and oversight of complex cases is a core part of the position. Some travel across sites is required.
About you
• Leadership and project management experience as well as specialised knowledge in a wide range of neuropsychological disorders, and expertise and skill in assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of adults and older adults.
• Experience working in hospital environments and skilled in the assessment of decision-making capacity (essential).
• Expertise in clinical work such as specialised neuropsychological assessment and neuropsychology interventions.
• Skilled in contributing to multidisciplinary teams and provision of education to clients and carers as well as in providing supervision to staff and students.
