A unique and exciting opportunity exists to be part of the Mental Health team at Eastern Health. In addition, the Outer East MSTS incorporates Secure Extended Care Unit Substitution & Diversion program and in collaboration with its MHCC partners provides a tailored response to a limited number of consumers. This service is directed to consumers who would normally be referred to the Secure Extended Care Unit (SECU).
The Prevention and Recovery Care Service (PARC) is an initiative to expand support and treatment options within mental health services. The service is jointly run by MIND and Eastern Health Adult Mental Health Service. It is a 10 bed residential facility (Maroondah) / 8 bed residential facility (Linwood) with 24 hour staffing. The purpose of the facility is to provide brief (1 – 4 weeks) intensive residential rehabilitation and recovery care.
