Medical Administration Registrar - 12 month appointment commencing February 2021

The successful applicant will participate in the work as directed by of the Office of the Chief Medical Officer and well substantial input into the operations of the Medical Workforce Unit in regards to recruitment, contracting and rostering of junior and senior medical staff.
They will provide a voice for their junior medical colleagues and in this capacity they will provide administrative support to the Doctors in Training Advisory Forum.
The Registrars will be allocated portfolios and tasks that will be tailored to the seniority and experience of the individual, and will consider appropriate exposure to training opportunities for the individual. This could also involve work with:
- The Office of Research and Ethics
- The Medical Education Unit
- The Medico-legal Office
- Quality, Planning and Improvement service
- Project work related to the organisation’s improvement plans
This position would be suitable for RACMA trainees looking to expand their experience in a busy metropolitan health service. This position is accrredited with the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators.
