About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for suitably qualified Infection Prevention and Control Clinical Consultant to join the dynamic environment at Eastern Health.
The successful candidate must be a Registered Nurse with a minimum of three years nursing experience.
About you
Along with a professional attitude and a commitment to help Eastern Health achieve its vision and values, the successful candidate must have:
- AHPRA registration for RN and preferably 3 years’ minimum experience
- Qualifications in:
- Infection Prevention and Control
- Hand Hygiene Australian Gold Standard Auditor
- HIV, HBV & HCV pre and post-test counsellor
- Accredited Nurse Immuniser
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation
- Highly developed clinical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly developed and effective organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Police Check
