About the role
The position provides high level administrative and secretarial support services to the Program Director of State-wide Services, the Executive Clinical Director Turning Point, and the Associate Program Director Turning Point Treatment Services. The role supports the efficient operation of these senior positions.
As part of Eastern Health, the State-wide Services program incorporates two leading treatments, training and research centres:
- Turning Point, a leading national centre that seeks to transform the way society provides treatment, specialist care and support for those affected by addiction.
- Spectrum Personality Disorder Service, a state-wide centre of clinical excellence that provides leadership in the application of evidence-based best practice for treatment and recovery from personality disorder and complex trauma.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Extensive senior administrative support role experience in a health services or similar environment
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of support related to meeting preparation, development and maintenance of office support processes and systems
- Excellent organisation and time management skills and the ability to develop efficient office systems
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to advise and liaise across all levels of the organisation and external organisations
- Proven ability to work accurately and within deadlines and to possess initiative and the ability to operate with minimal guidance and supervision
- Initiative to anticipate daily work requirements and to resolve potential issues in order to cause minimal impact
- Excellent computer skills with competence in the use of Microsoft Office suite of program
