Nurse Unit Manager
Supportive and Palliative Care Wantirna Health
Permanent Full Time Position (80 hours per fortnight)
YZ11 to YZ33 according to experience.
An exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team of Supportive and Palliative Care at Wantirna Health. Due to current incumbent promotion this highly sort after position has become vacant. Wantirna Health Supportive and Palliative Care unit is a 32 bed specialist unit which over the past 18 month's has reviewed the Model of Care. These changes along with the energetic team has seen great improvements in benchmarking, length of stay and patients/family outcomes. This is a GREAT opportunity for the right leader with a can do attitude! Come and join this dynamic interprofessional team as we prepare for Accreditation in early 2018.
You will require experinece at Managment level and within Palliaitve care and if you have Master's or working towards Master's you will highly regarded.

Day to day function and purpose of the role:
- Responsible for day to day clinical management
- Lead the team to meet KPI's and Accreditation standards.
- Strategic / operational responsibilities
- Strong Leadership skills with innovative thinking
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Recent experience in Management
- Post graduate qualifications (preferred)
- Well developed interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Strong commitment to high quality patient care with an understanding of PCOC, NSAP and Accreditation standards
