About the role
We are currently seeking a motivated Consultant Urologist with a passion for delivering a high standard of care and ensuring quality outcomes for our patients. Urology services operates at Box Hill, Maroondah and Yarra Health Ranges within Eastern Health. The role is a temporary part-time, maternity leave position which will include clinical sessions (operating theatre and outpatients) and is well supported by a team of specialist Clinical Nurse Consultants. Research, innovation and opportunities for service development is actively encouraged.
To be successful in this role you should possess:
- Registered Medical Practitioner (APHRA)
- Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgery (RACS)
- Recognised by Medicare as a specialist in Urology
- Involvement in undergraduate teaching
- Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
